Dear Society, Stop Sleeping On Madison Beer!

Are you ready for the next global pop star? We are and you should be too, because the 20-year-old American singer and songwriter is ready to make waves. Last year, she released her first ep and went on her first world tour where she showed everyone that she can be the next big thing in the music industry.

Just like many big stars, Beer started her career on YouTube where she was discovered by the Canadian world star Justin Bieber. One tweet was enough to change Madison’s entire life and transform her into a promising pop singer.

It’s almost six years ago since Madison debuted her first single “Melodies” and her debut album was in the works. After some problems behind the scenes, the album was scrapped and made the young singer think which musical direction she wanted to go. In 2018, she finally shared her first EP that had been in the works for over three years. As She Pleases features her hit singles “Dead” and “Say It To My Face” and showed the world what we could expect from her in the near future. Her R&B-infused pop is the music people nowadays love, so her success is not coming as a surprise.

Dear Society

Last week, the New York-raised singer released her first single this year and “Dear Society” is exactly what her fans have been waiting for. In the song, Beer is criticizing the digital age we’re living in and spreads a strong message to her young fans. Verses like “Dear society, you’ve pushed me to the edge / So here’s some clarity / The truth is, you’re the one who’s always there for me / With my daily dose of internet / And all the things that I should quit but can’t.” slap hard and give us a much needed wake up call.

Accompanied by a science-fiction inspired music video that came with the single release, her message is gaining even more power. The video is showing how Beer refuses to be part of a scientific experiment and makes the meaning of the song even clearer. A very bold move, that will pay off soon as her debut album is set to be released in June or July, according to her recent Instagram Live, where she teased some of the songs. Write her name down and get ready, because Madison Beer will be climbing up the charts faster than you’d expect.
